Somatic Exercises. The goldfish & walking exercise
In these videos I shouw you a couple of Somatic Exercises that are safe and really beneficial for you to use at home. I use them in sessions. The Goldfish is great for activating the vagus nerve which encourages relaxation. The walking motion of the second exercise is mimicking carrying out the bodies ‘flight’ responce.
Yawns, tears and deep breaths are welcome as this is nervous system regulation.

In this video we try to find an anchor for when times get tough or when you are overwhelmed. I also will give you a grounding exercise to do when you are feeling yourself go into fight/flight or disocciation. Not everyone has an anchor and that is ok, thats why we have grounding techniques to bring us back into our bodies.
